The city of Napa is offering free sandbags on the first Saturday of the Month through March, city officials said.

In an effort to prepare for wet weather, residents can grab free sandbags on a self-serve basis in the city’s corporation yard at 770 Jackson St. from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The next Sandbag Saturday will take place Jan. 6, 2024.

Sandbag operations will also open as needed at the Memorial Stadium parking lot at 1340 Menlo Ave. when the National Weather Service has declared a local Flood Watch.

More information about the sandbag program is available on the city’s website, or call 707-257-9520 to check sandbag availability.
